Academic & Employee Information System
The Challenge
Data inconsistencies between systems caused recurring problems: students registered in one system but absent from another, faculty records out of sync with payroll, and academic calendars managed separately from room scheduling. End-of-semester reporting required weeks of manual data reconciliation across departments.
What We Built
We built a unified platform with two integrated modules: an Academic Information System (AIS) covering student lifecycle from enrollment to graduation, and an Employee Information System (EIS) covering faculty and staff records, attendance, and payroll. A shared identity layer ensured consistent data across both modules. Role-based access controls gave students, faculty, department heads, and administrators each their appropriate view. Automated reporting replaced the end-of-semester reconciliation process.
The Outcome
End-of-semester reporting time reduced from 3 weeks to 2 days. Student data inconsistencies eliminated across all departments. Faculty payroll accuracy improved to 99.9%. Over 12,000 students and 800 staff members now operate on the unified platform. Academic calendar, room scheduling, and grade management now work from a single source of truth.
